The Jone L. Bowman Family Foundation matches employee donations to eligible 501(c)3 organizations. This disbursement occurs in December and has included funds to the following:
- American Heart Association
- ARC of Washington County
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County
- Brooke’s House
- CASA, Inc.
- Clear Spring Elementary PTA
- Girl’s Inc.
- Hospice of Washington County
- Make-A-Wish
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The foundation also honors service hours accrued by our employees at 501(c)3 organizations – these hours can earn an organization up to $500 annually. To date, the following organizations have received this type of funding:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County
- Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding Program
- Hickory Ridge High School Band Boosters
- Sandi Paws Rescue
